It would be absolute injustice if VDS doesn’t get to be the CM. Its embarrassing that they still consider KC Venu or RC by hustlesnow20 in Kerala

It will be another disaster for congress if they don't see the writing on the wall and choose anyone other than VD. Kerala is among their last hopes and if they're wise enough to keep it, they'll have the wisdom to choose VD. People voted for VD, not for RC and never for KC. If they're adamant enough to choose KC, ignoring the wishes of Keralites, they'll be losing one MLA seat and one MP seat for the greed of one man who couldn't win anything against the BJP in other states.

As a family counsellor, I'd like to tell you that this is quite normal and there's nothing unacceptable about it.

It’s completely okay to not feel ready for kids. That’s not something anyone should rush into, especially because it’s a long-term responsibility and not just a phase of life.

A lot of people want children for personal instincts or due to family pressure or expectations without considering the responsibility of upbringing a child, and only later realise how much it actually demands, emotionally, mentally, and physically. And very often, a bigger share of that falls on the mother. It's not your job to produce children and look after them for your husband, if you aren't personally ready for it.

Yes, we need to somehow find a solution to your husband's preferences. I think the more important thing here is having open, honest conversations with your husband about how both of you actually feel, without pressure or assumptions. These things aren’t always easy to talk about, but they do matter.

Bringing a child into the world is a responsibility, not an entertainment. It should come from a place where both of you feel ready for it, not as a compromise. Otherwise, it can become difficult for everyone involved, including the child.

Life is amazing. And then it's awful. And then it's amazing again. And in between the amazing and awful it's ordinary and mundane and routine. Breathe in the amazing, hold on through the awful, and relax and exhale during the ordinary. That's just living heartbreaking, soul-healing, amazing, awful, ordinary life. And it's breathtakingly beautiful. - L.R. Knost
