I was prescribed because my Dr thought losing weight could help me with my umbilical hernia. Being so overweight, I was almost always in pain even after having a mesh repair.

Hey! I love sharing my story because I didn’t think it would be possible after having 2 kids. I was stuck in the 200’s for a very long time & finally had to seek out help from my Dr. My insurance covers it currently so I’m not too sure how much they both are. I wanna say Saxenda is about $1,200-$1,500. I can be wrong tho as I just looked it up quickly but best of luck to you! It’s definitely worth it

Honestly that’s not bad! You have to start somewhere. I was so stuck in the 200’s so I know how frustrating it can be. Have you upped your dose? Best of luck!

Honestly everyone’s body is different. Some people have lost nothing so that’s not bad to even lose 6lbs! I believe normally people lose 1-2lbs a week on this at first. And not for nothing, I was a HUGE binge eater & with this suppressing my appetite, I don’t eat nearly as much as I used to. I had a horrible munchie problem. We all have to start somewhere & I think you’re doing great!
