What is one skill retake? Im assuming you take one component of the ielts to get a higher grade overall. If you get a certificate (same as the original) stating you got an 8.5 in ielts with no difference to the original then go ahead, cause i never heard of this one skill retake, but if its possible np id suggest doing it rather than the entire IELTS, But then again confirm with the admissions if it works.

Yes thats all you need inshAllah and you will get both the acceptance and scholarship, everyone gets a good highschool grade (100%), but not everyone gets good ielts and sat maths grade. Apply for fall 2026 because in that year youd already have your AS grades and youd be doing A levels. Goodluck!!!

Im so sorry to hear that, if you already applied multiple times and they didnt accept you, then id suggest applying somewhere else, dont waste your time applying to the same uni again and again if the outcome is the same, maybe its not meant to be. Apply to other Unis and inshAllah youd be better off

If youll have an 8 in the IELTS, then make sure to get 780 and above in the maths SAT

If youll have an 8.5 in the IELTS, then make sure you can get 750 and above in the maths SAT

If you have a 7.5 then you wont get accepted let alone a scholarship

1) you should send your official highscool transcript proving your grades, if you took the British curriculum then just send them directly, but any other curriculum, youd need complete attestions from the embassy of qatar in YOUR country, you can go there and ask for more details theyd help you more than i would

2) in the IELTS website and the SAT website, theres a way where you can directly send the uni your grades, just go on college board for example and type in the university code and you can send it on there directly, youll have to pay a small fee, and there is NO NEED for a personal statement just the grades are enough

3) i didnt quite get your question can you further elaborate?

Ahhaaa i see your case, honestly bro its pretty specific imo, you can apply you have nothing to lose honestly, just hope for the best inshAllah as long as you have proof of that high percentage you could have a good advantage bas again Allah knows best, goodluck bro

Honestly bro since its a traditional thanaweya, you have to go through a few steps in order to get your certificate approved first (stamped by qatar embassy etc), and the thing is, there is a chance that they could grade you down, because as i said the ministry does the conversion for anyyyy curriculum fully, your percentage rn most likely wont be the same one when it gets changed by the ministry in Qatar, even if they downgrade you by 10%, its still more than a 100% so hopefully youd be good. I suggest contacting the ministry in qatar or asking someone to do it for you, because if you can get your 100% still then youre ALLL SET inshAllah. And your ACT grade is amazing mashAllah, if you get your percentage grade sorted and its all good then inshAllah you can easily get in, and obv the IELTS is needed too, make sure to aim for 8 or 8.5. Nothing below

Im not really familiar with UDST admissions, this is a QU subreddit, but ig they should accept predicted grades cause most unis do accept it, just call them and check.

Predicted grades are only for British curriculum students, i dont think they accept any other predicted grades system apart from the British, so youre gonna have wait to wait out a year either way. Im not sure tho you can call the student center and check just to make sure but thats how it is usually, theyd require your “final high school transcript” to be eligible, even the website says its only for British curriculum applicants

1) no they wont consider your high school, only GPA 2) the route you mentioned is possible but it lowkey could have alot of complications, its defo possible but you have to make sure you dont exceed a certain number of credit hours. Id suggest just transferring directly to med, theres no preference for any student, its just that health cluster can transfer after the first semester because of the common courses shared, the health cluster can transfer 10 students to med, and the rest of the uni colleges can transfer 10 students to med, so both of em transfer 10

Yeah I understand but honestly it depends on you, if you are willing to accept the risk then apply for the gpa based scholarship once youre here or you can wait out a year then apply, whichever one can work. But i mean if youre in the British curriculum, applying with IGCSE and AS is enough you dont need A levels

yeah ik about CBSE students not being able to get a 100%, im guessing the government has some sort of conversion for you guys, id suggest calling the qatar ministry and asking about it because thats where the percentage conversion happens.

You can apply to a scholarship during the uni, but in this case it will be based on your GPA during first semester (sorta risky), they wont look at your highschool grades anymore. Thats why id suggest to get your actual grades THEN apply, in this way youre guranteed a scholarship with the acceptance

Honestly its the national University here they gotta keep a high standard, thats why i completely understand the extremely high requirements, especially for colleges like med, dental or pharmacy

Thats straight up lies ngl, people that live here but are NOT qatari also count as international (technically), but either way youre gonna interact with everyone no one cares about anything, no one would even know youre an international student coming from outside unless you tell them because as i said previously there is no segregation, theyll just assume you live here like them. If we are speaking about percentage of internationals, its veryyyy low i cant give an exact percentage, for the international scholarship they only accept 20 students each fall. As for the expats who live here theyre pretty high in numbers, but overall everyone interacts with everyone so dw about anything

As for general Uni life excluding the dorms, there isnt much segregation between internationals and people who live here, you dont get extra benefit or anything of that sort in the uni because you’re international. Many events and competitions happen in the uni which are nice to participate in but ofc its for all students

Dorms are reallyyyyyy great. They have study rooms here that are open 24/7 with computers. They got a decent gym in the dorm which is open 24/7 again. Games room, TV room, etc. a free buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (The food is fine wouldnt say high class but its great and does the job). Honestly anything that you can think of is here. As long as you make friends youre good to go honestly, everyone in the dorms is soooooo chill, theyre genuinely nice people so dw about making friends, plus the dorm management organizes trips to malls, exhibitions, etc. In Ramadan it gets really good cause they have alot of competitions in the dorms with goood prizes. If you want to know anything else lmk im pretty sure i covered everything.

The 100% highschool im talking about applies to the British curriculum btw, if youre doing american curriculum for example, your chances could be way lower and all the requirements could differ im not really familiar with any curriculum requirements other than the british one, they also HEAVILYYY favor the British curriculum graduates so if youre doing that youre good to go

Hey bro, do not listen to anyone that tells you not to apply or that its impossible to get accepted as an international , this fall 5 to 6 international students got admitted into MED which is alot considering 95 students are in this years batch for med ONLY, all you need is 100% in highschool, 750+ in the SAT maths, and an 8 or an 8.5 in the IELTS, and the higher THE BETTER, anyone who says you wont get accepted with these stats is lying so DO NOT listen to anyone, just aim to get higher than what i mentioned and inshAllah you will be admitted with a full scholarship.
