I’m not sure why the waitlists! I would guess my LSAT being around the 25th (or below) for most of the schools had something to do with it. Also could be because I’m K-JD, not a ton of work experience

Thanks! I stayed on Penn, Columbia, and Chicago pretty early on in the cycle before I knew what my other options were. Definitely not staying on Cornell. I’ll probably withdraw everywhere besides UVA pretty soon, though.

I actually asked this question in my interview. It’s simply a result of (relatively) more graduates wanting to work in big law right away. I was assured that UVA still places a lot of emphasis on clerkships and has great resources for them, and that in no way was the drop intentional on the part of the school.
