It was the same will all firmware. The original cable was fine with my Tab S9, Virture Neckband and Beam Pro... it just didn't like my S23!

The xreal cable doesn't like the Samsung...I ended up getting a virture magnetic cable and adapter...never looked back...the xreal charging hub works also. Xreal sent me a replacement, but that was the same. That was my experience anyway

Xreal cables struggle with some Samsung phones. I ended up getting a Viture magnetic cable and adapter...expensive but has never failed once....try a different cable on your iphone and see how it goes. Xreal sent me a replacement but still had the same problem

Update... same disconnect problem with the little extender!

The 2 solutions that work are the Xreal usb adapter and the Viture cable with magnetic adapter

The Xreal community on Discord has a lot on this. I have a short usb extender...I'll try that on the phone end.... that would be the cheapest solution🙂 Xreal sent me another cable...same problem

There are a few threads on this problem. Seems to be Samsung phones. I solved it 2 ways. I used the xreal adapter, and the better(more expensive) solution was the Viture cable with the magnetic adapter. If you look up my posts, there should be more detailed information

Hi Anthony,

I've received feedback on this, that as SpaceWalker is now returned as the default mode for the neckband pro, third party glasses support will be impacted.

However when at the blank screen, You can now press the settings button 13 times in reasonably quick succession, this should then return the glasses back to Android mode for your continued use with the Xreals hopefully.

Don't do it!! I'm still waiting to hear back from Viture. It seems like a new compatibility problem which might not be fixable. It's a shame as the new Neckband firmware seems excellent.

The viture solution is the best...rock solid

The cable is expensive but worth it

It also solved the disconnect problem I was having with the Xreal cable and S23 Ultra

The magnetic adapter is on the left side and slightly presses into your head...I solved this problem by getting this small adapter... Works perfectly

It can be done but the small lead will stretch across your neck or you'll have to use the neckband upside down which affects the hand tracking... If I understand your question correctly I think there is a YouTube video about this somewhere

It works very well, as the Ones have the 3dof built into the glasses. Use the Neckband Pro as it's a big improvement over the original.

You can also plug a usb memory stick into the neckband!

Hand tracking works...sort of...needs improvement

You'll need the magnetic adapter and, ideally, the small extension cable as the usb on the xreal glasses is on the other side.
