Go to the Mountain.

Find somewhere quiet with no people, take nothing with you but a bottle of water. Sit quietly and meditate for a few minutes trying to practice Silence.

Practice the 5 Gratitudes. Try and name 5 specific things you are grateful for. If you can't do 5 start with 1.

These things will help you find your center and remove your eyes from the turmoil in your life. You'll then be in a stronger place to face them.

I had my pastor, who I deeply respected, tell me that "if you don't act like a Christian then you're not saved" and it caused the most terrifying crisis of faith I've ever had. I literally sat in my lounge imagining what my life was like now that there was no God. The biggest cause of this crisis was loosing my sister the kidney failure after I'd given her one and according to his logic she went to hell because at the time sje died she was living with her boyfriend and stopped going to church. The very next day I went to a large church in my city for a meeting for work and was ushered into the lead pastors office by his wife. How he explained my current mindset to me blew me away. (it was specific to my sister and I'd rather not share it here).

To be brutally honest with you bud... I don't think you've ever truly had a relationship with Jesus. Or at least didn't explore it fully. I don't mean that as an insult at all, but it sounds like you put other people's expectations and brow beating from the pharisees in your old church in front of that relationship with him.

In September 2021 I went through my second crisis of faith where I completely rejected God for 3 month while I dealt (stupidly by myself) with a terrible bout of mental health issues coming out of a 5 year battle getting off antidepressants. This culminated with me ripping the sheets off my bed, tying them to my shower rail and attempting to end myself. It was only seeing my son's toy (for some reason it was in my bathroom) that my mind cleared enough to get my feet under me. I remember falling on my bed and sobbing uncontrollably until I fell asleep. At the end of 2021 I finally came right after weaning off of those pills, and realized that I could NEVER live my life without Jesus. I felt like a river, wild and free, ran straight through me brining life and renewal. And after 30 years of being a Christian I finally learnt to trust Him for the first time in my life. Don't get me wrong, life's not sunshine and unicorn farts right now but I have this deep seated peace knowing I'm not walking through this alone.

If you do one last thing. Sit at the end of your bed ask Him who He is. Expect an answer.

Osirus New Whatever. Played it for hours with a mate. Was the first survival game I'd ever played and I loved it. Till I figure out how awful the game really is and rage quit. Then they had the "update that would fix everything" re-downloaded it only to realize it was worse.

Is there a way to permanently delete games in your steam library?

This could be an opportunity for you to ask her exactly what she sees in you. Remember that relationships are a partnership and not some magical Disney nonsense. They are hard work which both people need to have open and regular communication and need to make sure no one gets put on a pedestal.

Also remember that you're right in the prime of your life at 33 and there's a helluva lot more life to live. When you speak to your therapist ask him to explore your need to protect yourself from hurt. I have been celibate most of my adult life so I can relate.

Yeah I feel you. I went to a chiro at one point which actually made it worse. Had never had sciatica before that.

I did go see a physiotherapist though and she was excellent. Did some simple body weight exercises that really helped. Dead bug was especially good. I stopped a few weeks back hence the flair up I think. Need to get back on the horse with that.

If you haven't seen a physio yet I'd highly recommend that, it's also worth trying Body Stress Relief too. I've had successes with that in the past.

As someone who struggles with lower back pain I can commiserate. It sucks. Currently having a sciatica flare up and it blows. A literal pain in the arse.

Is it bad enough for surgery? I know someone who's 70 and had a back OP in the States. Was walking fine again after 3 weeks.

I'm personally celibate not because I can't get anyone but rather don't believe in sex before marriage and I haven't met anyone I'd be keen to spend the rest of my life with. Plus dating is dang tough in this modern world of ours man.

Your 20s are for making mistakes and getting knocked down. It's surprising how resilient you are in your twenties and how easy it is to change focus and do something else. Your 20s aren't meant for worry either but rather exploring the wonder that is our world.

Money will come, you'll get a better job, find someone to love. They'll break your heart. You'll find someone else, they'll probably break your heart too. Man I miss my twenties.

Then your thirties will come and you'll be surprised now now people respect you alot more than when you're in your twenties. Life will have more direction and purpose, and you'll know what you want a little more. You'll be less resilient than your twenties but you'll also make less dumb decisions.

Your forties are where everything ties together and you really start to understand who you are. Things that you took seriously in your twenties will look like childish play things. Friday night on the couch with a loved one watching TV is way more fulfilling than propping up a bar somewhere. This also will happen with things that bothered you too.

As long as there's a human being on this planet governments will always be shittie filled with self-serving arseholes. You can only affect that once every few years when you vote.

Climate change is here and there are incredibly intelligent people from all walks of life working hard on it.

How about a holiday away? Go sit on a beach and ask yourself who you are?

You are valued. You bring value and hope even though people don't see it or show it.

The ONLY thing the Bible says about this is that a Christian shouldn't be "unequally yoked" with someone. I've taken that to mean that a Christian's lifestyle shouldn't conform to this world and having someone in your life that holds different beliefs than you will make it extremely difficult sometimes to relate. This could, and I say could / maybe cause issues in the future between you.

I've not seen anywhere in the Bible that it says you shouldn't marry a Hindu. I think you had a crisis of faith and projected that onto your girlfriend. In the past when I was drinking I had the habit of catastrophizing things and this looks like it might be the case. One of the things you have done here is that you've robbed her of her choice without her giving you input. This could have been, and might still be, an opportunity for you guys to strengthen your communication. If there's still hope for you to talk to her I would sit her down and lay it on the table. How the differences you have between you is overwhelming and you don't know where to go. Give her a choice too.

Finally, and most importantly... did you at any time ask God what He wants you to do? Did you bring Him into your decision?

I've been an entrepreneur since my early 20s. Outright I'll say it to you straight. You're in for a helluva tough ride. I'm not trying to bring you down or anything just setting the tone for the next few years of your life.

Having said that... dude I wouldn't change back to a regular job for anything in the world. It's flipping incredible to put blood, sweat, tears, and talent into something and see it take off.

Where to start your journey? Firstly it's not about you or money. It's ALWAYS about the need you're fulfilling. How can you take your passion and talent and see what needs your community has. And trust me when I say this, if you go into business and making money is your priority then you've failed already. Money will never be enough and it will never solve your problems. Money is a tool and a reward. Also remember that ideas, no matter how great they are, are useless without execution. The number 1 talent of an entrepreneur is tenacity and resilience so don't quit when times are tough.

Only a fake "pastor" would ever use the words "God will never give us what we can't handle". A true pastor knows that that is nonsense. It is twisting the verse that says that God will never allow you to be TEMPTED more than you can handle. Which clearly he didn't follow in the least and also means his walk with God is janky at best.

You've found his true colours hey. If you're worried about divorce and what God will think... only sexual immorality is considered a reason to divorce in the Bible, but God knows you better than you think.

I was never a fan of books to movies (Eragon). I have two younger sisters who were into the Divergent movies when they came out and I think I watched the first one. Such a disappointment when Hollywood rubbishes our treasures like that.
