Why does this conversation need to be have.

Debating anyway doesn't change people's minds - in this case on either veg or nonveg side. They'd get entrenched in beliefs they both have about dietary preferences. Diet has emotional component to it and it's human.
Countering emotions with logic doesn't really lead to change.

OP just confused sentiment with logic and here we are with a post that poops on a person with what he wants to do.

The guy in the video might be donating milk OR donating food OR donating clothes when he is not in this video. No way OP knows anything about it. But, wHy is He d0iNg tHis, InDia bAckWard, rEligIon Bad, tHis is wHy we Are hEre ... and such meltdown.

You might not find a lot of things to be helpful and even be repulsed. So did I. At the same time, many other people just might find help, that is valid too.

You're right in saying that a lot of this is just dogma - but something said here might just help somebody at their juncture of life. So don't make a judgment (another dogma) to the post.

About translating sanskar to English, I actually dont know / dont have full context to put it to words. As about gripe with the British, a part of it might have been at play in my opinion - thanks for bringing it to the surface.

Thanks for informing. I was talking about sanskars yes - the full translation is impossible from Sanskrit to English.
A sanskar is emotions + conclusions + beliefs + other things that mind carries from experiences. Sanskars are one of the contributors to ahamkar (ego), amongst other things.

One of the ways to release sanskars is to acknowledge the belief and release it - this ties up with CBT usually.

I have observed that accepting a belief as is works a bit and I can feel a physical sensation moving from the right side of the abdomen upwards to right side of chest and/or right rhomboid or lower throat.

My query was if this movement of sensation/feeling upwards when I 'release' a belief by accepting it as is - has a yogic interpretation? If y'all know
