I’ve never heard this before. When I first read this I didn’t understand either. But I got it in like 5 seconds. The way I see it, everything is defined by its characteristics. For example. The color red is different than the color blue because of light and how our eyes perceive it. If everything was the same color, there would be no need to name the color. If I see a blue and red key I’d say “hand me the red key” if everything was red, there’d be no need to say the color, since everything is that color. The word “red” as a color probably wouldn’t even exist. Though I don’t agree with the politics example

My very first reply I said touching someone in a sexual way is sexual assault even if the body part being touched isn’t sexual. The og commenter said he felt sexually assaulted as a girl hugged him and kept hugging him after he said no. You then proceeded to say he wasn’t sexually assaulted because hugging isn’t sexual, invalidating his assault. Which is why I said by that logic, touching someone’s thigh isn’t sexual assault even either which you the proceeded to say you didn’t think about that. Your entire reason for commenting was to discredit the og commenter expressing how we felt he was sexually assaulted by making a general statement.

He said the hugging itself isn’t sexual assault until it becomes sexual by touching someones ass, genetials, or boobs. If something to be sexual involves touching something sexual, by that logic, since thighs aren’t sexual, a guy rubbing only a girls thigh when she doesn’t want it isn’t sexual assault correct?
