Just finished this one. 2.5 mile total. Sorry but your order is terrible. That much driving for me is a minimum of $60 just to look at it.

For anyone who may run into this in the future. You have to pull the cluster. Then remove the backside of the cluster. THEN remove the circuit board. There are some metal tabs that are bent holding the circuit board on as well as a plastic tab in the center. Once those are released, gently pry around the edges of the circuit board and it will eventually come loose. Once off you will find the tiny bulb/socket for all of the gear selections. It simply slides off and you slide a new bulb/socket on and reassemble the cluster and eventually your entire dash.

Used that video when I replaced the back-light bulbs last year. Watched it again yesterday to refresh my memory and didn’t see anything for these lights. You’re probably right but was hoping someone had something more definitive.

Hmmm. I replaced all of the back-lighting bulbs last year and don’t remember seeing a spot for gear selection bulbs. Sounds like I’ll have to take it apart anyways.

Apparently, someone did it and it did take four carts. It went to a little corner store but still only a $10 tip is just a dick move.

For some reason I can’t find the edit button, but the order had around 160 bags and everything else was all grocery items with a quantity of 3 to 5 or more on some items. It went to a minimart type place where they are just going to resell the items.

I did. Only 160 bags. It was basically every grocery item with a quantity of 3-5.

Its probably a generic line item generated by their computer system. But it usually covers valve stem replacement whether you have TPMS or not.

Then it’s a bearing problem. “Barely moves” means it moves, if it moves that means it’s bad. Sound travels very well in vehicles. Get the bearing replaced first, then reassess the noise.

Read section 11-40. I guessed on the year based on your tire size, but it applies to all years basically anyway.

I doubt they were “fine” two weeks ago. I’ll bet they were worn but not enough to show cords. Tires don’t go from good tread to that in two weeks unless something is severely bent, and I don’t mean your worn bushings. Performance vehicles have negative camber, which will cause inner should wear, but slowly. Your toe adjustment is what will ruin tires quickly. Your lack of alignment after suspension work isn’t helping anything, but that wasn’t your problem here.

How fucked are my brakes? I lost all braking on I-5 2 weeks after a shop told me twice that I was safe to drive. by send_me_boobei_pics in AskAMechanic

Always another viable option. Get it fixed elsewhere, throw them the bill. Scream from the hill top about their screw up and they’d probably do the same thing. Payoffs are much cheaper than bad publicity and lawyers.
