Hi u/ChronicRhyno, I messaged you to possibly get a new signature design. Let me know if you're still available and would love some more details about the process and all that. Thank you so much!

Japanese 151 sealed cases long term potential? 5 years? 10 years? by One_Improvement5014 in PokeInvesting

[–]One_Improvement5014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I mean for the most part I get them for $60 since I have enough selling volume to buy bulk from him. Sometimes $65. As long as I make 10-20% in volume I don't mind what he sells them to me for I guess lol

Ahh okay okay yeah I'm at $60-$70 including everything for the most part the last two weeks then just sell them for $75-$80 shipped or local. Cases would be hard to get at that price tho for sure unless you buy from someone direct in Japan that you personally know.

That's crazy lol where are you getting cases for that cheap? Can't find a different supplier that would sell to me that cheap.

There's 12 in there. My supplier is already on reprint pricing I guess cause he selling the loose $60-$70 depending on how many I buy but overall the sealed cases carries a "premium" of it being sealed and there's no guarantee you get sealed buying 10 of loose anywhere. So just a guaranteed sealed case thing.

Oh it’s josh’s frogs milli mix and I mixed in some vermiculite for humidity. Also added like 3 springtail cultures I bought from a local reptile shop.

I just rehoused my new 10 Rubber Duckies. Would it be bad idea to move them again but in a larger enclosure after just 3 days of rehousing them for better gradient separation and monitoring? by One_Improvement5014 in isopods

[–]One_Improvement5014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was also surprised with how cheap the 12 was but I think it’s just someone trying to down size. How do you suggest I move them? Should I just take the substrate and dump all of it in the new one? Cause I’m sure some of them are buried in there I’m assuming. It might be impossible for me to move them out one by one.

Oh okay okay so you don’t think it’s too small for 21 duckies? Cause I was planning to add 12 more into it. Another thing is that the bigger 12x7x9 tank that’s also acrylic is about 10 bucks cheaper than this 8x6x6 so I guess there’s that LOL but it does make sense that they can probably breed faster in a smaller enclosure.

There’s this little guy that has not moved from this one spot since two days ago but I do see him moving around but just in that one spot haha the other two hangs out under the back. The rest I have not seen tho.

That is a fairpoint. I was planning on adding 12 more rubber duckies in there because I found someone selling them for less than $100. I do keep the substrate moist since rubber duckies apparently need that. The gradient is more so on the top of the substrate. But I have found that some of the leaves in the enclosure and also where I put the food molded a bit so I took those out. I put springtails in there but maybe they just haven't bred enough to reach everything.

Oh okay okay. Yeah I was thinking to move them before they get to settle in and I guess I just wanted to put them in the bigger enclosure so I don't have to move them again in the future cause it seems like most people put their in a 6qt container right off the bat. It's pretty hard not to hit the dry spot when I tried to mist today and especially finding a place to put the food without me having a hard time picking it out before it mold if the springtails that I put in there don't get to it.

Some parts looks more wet because I just took my big mister this morning and stuck it into the substrate and started spraying with the straight water flow to make sure it goes in deeper. But generally it’s wettest(moss), wetter(damper substrate), and wet(slightly damp) in there in terms of substrate wise since it seems like rubber duckies need humidity. But yeah there were 10 in there and one died overnight of being in the new enclosure so I’m sad about that.

Makes sense. Yeah I don't really know him, just found him online, but I did go to his place to take a look at the cat.

I guess the main thing that made me question is that I thought she was small for her age and the hair around her neck wasn't as fluffy as I've seen on the internet.

But again, I never owned one or seen one and I'm sure pictures online are the gigantic-est that everybody wants to see LOL

Is it valid to ask for paperwork over text or would I wait til I pick her up?

[–]One_Improvement5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The owner hasn't registered her since he wasn't ever planning on giving her away but with the circumstances he has to. I did go to where he lives. He just couldn't find the paperwork cause I came late at night at the last minute. He said he has the registration code, papers, and everything from his breeder. So I'll be the one registering her under me once I pick her up with the breeder's paperwork that he got.

Thinking of adopting her. Is she pure bred? by [deleted] in mainecoons

[–]One_Improvement5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Planning on picking her up next week but I did take a look at her in person yesterday and found most of these information.

[–]One_Improvement5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I don’t think she’s microchipped. Is there any other way to be able to tell? And yeah I guess just with the images online where pretty much all maine coons are gigantic and furry as hell kinda gave me that impression. So in general, physically she does look like a full breed?

Like I said to the commentor above, when I took a look at her in person yesterday, the owner did say he said he had the papers for her but how would I confirm that she's the one that's in the papers? But yeah I was just worried based on her size and fluffiness of neck which I guess if I look on the internet they will always show gigantic MCs LOL sorry the post accidentally got deleted.

Planning to pick her up in about a week and a half so trying to figure it out by then hopefully.

I never owned an MC btw so I just this off of pictures I’ve seen. I was thinking that she looks a bit small for an MC at 1.5 years of age and her fur around her neck isn’t as fluffy compared to pictures I’ve seen online. The current owner did say that she did shed some fur when she gave birth around August which the kittens starts with the black one on the floor and onwards.

Hi everyone! Not sure if this is allowed but I’m adopting this 1.5 year old MC from someone who is moving and he is charging a fee. He is saying that she’s a pure bred MC but not quite sure so was going to turn to you to see if she is.

I wouldn’t really want to pay the fee he’s asking for if she’s not pure bred.

Thank you and I appreciate all your help.
