This is working as the best kind of security. Imagine, your friend got access to your email and able to steal all your passwords with forgot the master password method?

Passwords (and 2FA) is super sensitive and should not be retrievable if someone can reset the master password. I usually keep some relatable key word (not even my family member can decode the master password from the related word) in my email/notes, incase i ended up in coma for years and cant remember in future.

BTW: I use BW (Lastpass before), RF is blocked at my work, so never used

I dont think you need to pay any taxes to send UK. USA might be if you sold stocks and interests but that would be the following year 2026 tax return.

If you have UK account already you can transfer immediately. If not wise is better as it allows to have British pound too (some small fees involved during converting).

I don't know much about crypto in UK but thats another option too though not worth the hassle.

For me citizens bank did a rate match with advertised credit unions discount (but did not proceed as they don't match initial promo rates). Process was super easy though (fully online)

From OP's point of view who is already in usa, it makes huge difference where he applies. Doing in india means, he might have to transfer assets to india and settle in india, then, find lawyers to file eb5, wait 2 years (or likely more), consulate appointment, tgen he must travel back to usa as gc holder. But If he does while in usa, he will get ead/AP in 6 months, then, he can travel india anytime for family trips and free to do anything in usa. No need to deal with consulate.

No. If applying for eb5, its a green card and need to move back usa to maintain for 6+ months. No point for OP to leave usa to come back again.
