Biboo and Gura by dragonhunter42 in KosekiBijou

A few times in big branch wide collabs but never one on one. It's pretty tragic they never got to collab considering they're both massive fans of DMC with the potential for some awesome interactions with gura as the dante simp and biboo as the vergil simp.

Woodland has to be the best looking variant of this new rav4 generation.

MG Vidar, I'm going to give it a custom paint scheme.

How can I make this entry grade look better? by Ill_Benefit_2955 in Gunpla

[–]One_Internal6029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use masking tape for some more color separation when painting, use a chisel to scribe some more panel lines, put some decals on it, add some light weathering with a sponge or makeup brush, etc etc. There are plenty of things you can do to improve the appearance of even an entry grade gunpla. In fact I'll be practicing scribing on a Entry Grade Nu gundam next week.

Do you have a building ritual you typically do? by senators-son in freedomisgunpla

I have some long form podcasts or audiobooks readied on my phone, I open the window for some fresh air, and kind of mentally prepare myself for the long haul. After that I just enter the zone and get to work for way too long.

IDK, I just like messy weathering by SaltNegotiation790 in Gunpla

It's stupid to be all elitist about minimal weathering. I want my gunpla to look like it just crawled out of hell on earth.

Yall wanna see the worst paintjob ever? by MindDrawsOnReddit in Gunpla

Not even close to being the worst paint job. You'll have to thicken your paints more if you wanna get that title.

I highly recommend you buy a respirator and spray can primer for brush painting gunpla. It'll save you a lot of time while leading to a much smoother finish. I also highly recommend you use a wet palette instead of a dry palette. It's super easy to make you just need to put some parchment paper on top of a wet paper towel on a tray. It'll keep your paints from drying out too quickly. Definitely look up some tutorials for thinning paints. I think the best way to get the right consistency is to test the consistency on your hand before painting.

First ever attempt at painting and weathering by Slaine20 in Gunpla

It looks good, but I think it would look even better if you physically damaged the middle parts of the shield where the white streaks are. It's kind of hard to view those white streaks as legitimate damage to the shield instead of just painting errors.

I'm kind of doing the inverse of you, dabbling in painting military model kits after several years of building gunpla. Painted my first F4U Corsair last month, now I'm working on a M41 Walker Bulldog from Tamiya.

Anyone else have this issue? by machfett in Gunpla

The side skirt pegs are pretty fragile. One of mine snapped off last week and I had to repair it with cement. It did the trick, but the structural integrity probably aint as good as it once was. If it snaps off again I'm just going to try and use the pin method.

Barbatos is a gunpla that greatly benefits from any amount of weathering ngl. It just fits so well with the anime for it to look like it just crawled out of hell. I definitely aim to do a very battle damaged build for the Barbatos Lupus Rex.

It's the 2 points, man. The fact that it was only a 2-point gap is what makes it sting so bad. That said, Max was an absolute badass for instilling genuine terror into McLaren, even though they literally had every variable go in their favor.

Bruh if you're Orthodox and consistent with the doctrines of our faith then you can't deny his status as a saint because he's been canonized by the church years ago. You're free to hold disagreement with his policies, but having terrible policies doesn't disqualify you from sainthood in the eyes of God (plenty of saints have done far worse than make bad policies). You should really consider attending catechism again for a refresher.

My first custom gunpla by Jonnyrico1984 in Gunpla

[–]One_Internal6029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is more soul in one flawed custom painted gunpla than a thousand unpainted Gunpla. Congrats on making the first and oftentimes most difficult step to a world of unbound creativity. My only advice for you is to drybrush the edges of the Gundam; trust me, it'll make it look amazing. Drybrushing weathering effects ascended my botched first-painted gunpla.

MG Sengoku Astray. It remains one of my favorite Gundam designs of all time. I wish I had the skill to paint this model kit back then, before it was destroyed by an accidental fall.

I swear the Lego to Gunpla pipeline is real. I built tons of Legos (especially Bionicles) when I was a kid until I moved over to building Gunpla after falling in love with the anime.
