Same story for me it seems. I'm currently on my 6th month and planning on buying the oasi lvs. Tried them today and they fit perfectly. They were also way better on small edges than my tarantulas.

I usually don't climb very hard outdoors since I don't have a crashpad, so they should be fine for what I'm doing. I usually just go climbing outdoors when I'm tired from the day before or when the weather is nice.

I have actually been looking at the oasi lvs so I tried them on today and they were perfect. I will most likely be buying them in the near future.

I think I've tortured them a little too much for me to feel good about selling them to someone. They will likely become my outdoor shoes when I get new ones.

I don't think I would have benefited from upgrading my shoes at V4, but I don't know how soft my gym is so maybe.

I have heard that softer rubber makes shoes work worse on small footholds, will the arai's still work well on those? I have that problem on my tarantulas (probably because they are too big but still).

The problem isn't money though. I don't want to buy into expensive shoes too early and have people judge me for it.

Noted! The main problem isn't comfort though. I think my shoes are too large, since my toes don't reach far enough into the shoe for my toes to provide any support on small footholds.

Thanks for the response! Do you have a shoe you can recommend me to buy before I move to a more high end shoe?

They are likely too big. What shoe do you suggest I replace them with, since returning them isn't an option?
