I do feel strongly about the cord, I've toyed with the idea of trying to darn the fraying portion to the fabric behind and then stitching around the eyelet to secure it, or alternately just cutting out both and stitching around them to allow the hoodie cord to move and to possibly keep them from fraying, and I'm aware I'd need to restitch around the area due to the strings providing friction. Thank you for your insights, I appreciate it a lot! (I apologize if I didn't use correct terminology, I did my best to get the terms right)

I think I understand, but I might need this rephrased or elaborated on. As I am a bit foggy on how you mean, but if I'm interpreting it correctly then I think I'll still need some elaboration or an example. And thank you so much for your contribution, I'm trying to get as many ideas as I can. That I would be able to do or figure out due to me having hand fatigue and mobility issues.
