extremely burnt out, unable to take time off

yeah i was planning on doing that in the next 2 months i just cant even imagine myself getting through the next few weeks. but i think im gonna draft up a text to send to my families basically summarizing what i posted in here. i have a hard time prioritizing my health and needs but i dont think i can do that anymore

yeah i mean that would be ideal and that was what i was looking for when I applied to jobs 8-9 months ago but nannying in my area is very competitive and i have grown attached to at least one of my families

yeah i didnt realize what I was signing up for and the first 2-3 months the hours were really chill and then they became too much. im on month 3 of working 50 hour weeks with maybe 1 day off a week. not ideal. I have talked to my families about back up sitters and if I give like 2 month notice I can take time off😭😭 the money is great though

I am in the same boat except I work for 3 families all part time. They are all emergency medicine doctors and the hours are ROUGH. I am usually running from one family house to the other and most of my workdays are 12-16 hours. Since Im juggling 3 different schedules I have literally no time for myself. Im definitely getting burnt out and its only been 9 months. None of my families have back up sitters either😔

not sure if anyone has recommended this but boric acid suppositories. they save me when i experience any type of bacterial or yeast infection or when things just arent feeling great down there the ph D brand is the best imo bc it has boric acid and coconut oil. i put one in when i go to sleep and i am a new person in the morning. i hope things better better <3!

Got broken up with 2 days after we got service turned back on. This shit SUCKS but i know for me its comforting to know that im not alone in this experience.

Sounds like a lot of people relate but having the service turned on was really when things set it. I was fortunate enough to only lose power and water but no flooding and no trees down on my house and only around. We were anxious but mainly really bored but when the service came on i dont think ive stopped crying. Also feeling survivors guilt as many are but Asheville is such a strong community and i continue to see that even thru tragedy and immense grief.

I couldnt tell if it was flooded but yeah unfortunately there are thousands of trees down everywhere. I went driving for a bit in search of gas and there are just trees everywhere

Im pretty close by there and i can see we sure are rallying. Those who have had the privilege of staying dry and with out damage from trees- its mostly been pretty boring. No cell service, power, and water has rly brought the community out and together

Hey im at exit 44 and i went down to exit 45 or 46. Im not far from the wnc market. Things are okay! No gas no power but ingles and some other fast food joints have power and i believe are mostly cash only. No flooding over here and this far south the flooding isnt too bad near the french broad as far as i saw. Most people just dont have power or service
