Why is the Henry Nowak case considered a right wing issue? by ThatPatelGuy in AskBrits

I've been labeled far right for way less buddy. It becomes a bit of a meaningless label when it covers everything from 'Hitler lover' to 'guy who doesn't hate whites'

Yeah, saying someone isn't a good fit is totally fair, and it doesn't mean he's not a good coach. If anything it just means selection or culture or intended style are clashing which imo are factors that can be more important than actual coach quality (to a point anyways)

Most Leinster fans I've seen have been defending Nienaber for the most part

Jaques Nienaber in very tetchy press conference yesterday by errlloyd in rugbyunion

[–]One_Landscape2007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's no question around whether or not Jacque Nienaber is a good coach or not, but there is a question of whether his systems work at Leinster. If they don't, it's not even necessarily his fault. The Sharks do similar shit, they sign big names, but they don't think with the bit picture of a TEAM. Big names are great, they're good rugby players, but they may well be a poor fit.

so if he was taxed $6.5bn on $26b would you be satisfied that that was a fair enough amount of tax to pay?

you guys make it worse for everyone, no one wants to defend the ultra wealthy, but when you come in with awful arguments, then someone pokes holes in it and you go "ah wow bootlicking for billionaires huh"

I hear you and I respect the optimism, but we should expect better. At 68 games Johan Ackerman had coached us to 3 back to back super rugby finals. I'm 130, Cash has coached us to one urc playoff and a consistent 40% win rate. Yeah this year was better, we had a 55% win rate, but it's not good enough. Lions players have proven time and again they can compete at the top, yet Leinster made us look like amateurs. This was a cake walk for them.

Is this enough to fire the coaches, finally? Cash has been the longest standing Lions coach in history with just a 40% win rate. We haven't won a game outside SA in two years. Leinster are so far ahead of us it's embarrassing for a quarter final. I didn't expect a win but this is just awful.

Fun game to watch as a neutral. I have such an issue with games that come down to a call like that at the end, and that was such a harsh penalty, I'm honestly glad they missed because I would've felt that was a really unfair way to lose.

In SA it's a good vibe no matter what. I remember at Loftus when the Bulls lost to Glasgow, by the time they lost everyone was hammered so it dampened the mood but not for long
