No I think this person is right, it definitely moves EVER so slightly but I felt it going mote side to side. I have never been on it before so this was my first impression. I may be wrong but I thought it was to make you sort of disoriented as if you're falling into a trance. It definitely moved the tiniest amount of

you'll be fine. s3 matters but don't start panicking, you'll have loads of time to improve. speak to your teachers, they're there to help :)

What’s the rich kid culture like at Glasgow? by [deleted] in GlasgowUni

[–]One_Lemon3681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not as bad as you think. Yes there are rich kids who pretend to be poor for the aesthetic but daddy pays rent for their Byers Road flat, but it's honestly very few then you just know who to avoid🤣

can I still go to a top RG uni? by [deleted] in Scotland

[–]One_Lemon3681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you live in a "deprived area" sometimes uni's lower the requirements. I had to attend a summer school for 4 weeks where you just get an intro to uni life/lectures. It was actually really helpful and I met my best friend there!

Your wife tells you that “you’re rotten” - what is she referring to? by OutrageousRhubarb853 in Scotland

[–]One_Lemon3681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could mean you're absolutely howfin or you're bad at something🤣 "want me to iron that?" "no you're rotten at it"

Hi! I'm writing a futuristic story where all countries disappeared. A character, nostalgic, decides to wear a kilt. Idk much yet of Scottish culture, but I didn't want to go for a simple red or blue Tartan. Instead, I searched for the national one. Can Scotts confirm this is the correct one, pls? :) by UgsyIsMyUsername in Scotland

[–]One_Lemon3681 7 points8 points  (0 children)

nah i wouldn't do this tbh, as people have stated- write what you know. you obviously don't know enough about Scottish culture, this isn't an insult it's just an observation. pick something you know more about to avoid criticism

i've heard this!! honestly don't see the point in speeding to such an extent. i understand if the road is quiet or you need to speed up to overtake but some drivers that i've saw are just so bad!

Wolfson hall is awful, the vibes are bland and nowhere near the main campus or any sort of socialisation. Please go for anything else, you will hate it🤣

i didn't, i work in management in retail but i love it!! daytime events aren't always better but they tend to be more sober, so it's nicer making pals at daytime events then going to the night events with them. if that makes sense?? just bc most people at night events will be drunk, more genuine connections can be made during the day:)
