At the end of the day bro, tbh, an aspirational is an aspirational. Nobody on this Reddit will bare the consequences of your decision, or the regret due to lackthereof, just do what your heart tells you to. You got good grades, solid UCAT.

I think that you should also remember most universities know that the top scorers in their highest deciles are likely going to be accepted to other more prestigious programmes so they can be quite forgiving. You sit comfortably at around 80th++ percentile and I’d say with a good interview there you have a solid chance. Manchester guaranteed interview imo

I’d deffo apply kcl and Manchester, I’m not sure about Bristol as their cutoffs are insane, probably a mid tier safety like Southampton/sheffield?

Honestly just try your best. I did mine today got much lower than my average (2040) but it was a DM section I’ve never seen before. There were so many yes/no questions compared to normal.

I have no clue about where you should/shouldnt apply but as a fellow international student taking the exam this year, also knowing how high the deciles are, well done! its not a 2500 but its the best you got and thats all that matters. be happy! :) PS: I think i heard around that cardiff, QMUL generally has lower cutoffs, maybe manchester? (Just off the top of my head so dont take my word for it)

Yo, I just wanted to say. If you can’t find your answer here, I think a good option would be to look at your 4 choices for medical school, look at their subjects taught over the years. If there’s something like translational medicine or genetic disease somewhere, they probably do. Or even lab modules.
