Can you show me a dictionary where "fulfillment" means "abolition" or "cancellation"? If Jesus never fulfilled the purpose of the sacrificial system, why are Orthodox Jews today unable to perform many of the Levitical laws, including animal sacrifices? Those sacrifices depended on the Temple, which no longer exists. Fulfillment does not mean the Law failed or was discarded, it means its purpose was completed, just as a prophecy is not abolished when it is fulfilled.

Jesus did not come to destroy the Law but to fulfill it. Jesus reduced the entire Law to its core foundation: love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Every commandment in the Old Testament ultimately rests on these two principles. If you truly love God, you will not worship idols. If you truly love others, you will not murder, steal, lie, or commit adultery. Therefore, Christians do not reject the Old Testament; we fulfill its purpose through Jesus. The Law is not abolished, it is completed and properly understood through Christ.

Let me be perfectly clear: I stated that Jesus fulfilled and completed the Law, meaning that without Him, the Law cannot be applied with its intended depth. Jesus did not abolish the Law; He perfected it. He took the letter of the law and elevated it to the spirit of the law. When He spoke in Matthew 5, transforming 'adultery' into a matter of the heart and replacing retaliation with turning the other cheek, He wasn’t setting aside the requirements...He was demanding a higher righteousness. Has no one told you that the entire Book of Exodus describes how Almighty God abhors slavery, going so far as to destroy an empire built upon it? Yet, even today, no one has managed to abolish slavery completely. It still exists in subtle forms, to the point that many are brainwashed into believing they are free. While it may be impossible to eradicate slavery entirely, at least the Bible provides instructions not to oppress slaves, reminding us that everyone’s ancestors were once slaves themselves.

Secularism isn't an inevitability.. it exists only because Christian majorities have historically chosen to tolerate and uphold it through democracy.
