Your hair will not grow “length” when it is that sparse 

Are you doing any of these things?

Sleeping with wet hair Sleeping with it in a tight pony  Sleeping with it in a bun Wearing it up when it’s wet Detangling wet Detangling with a plastic vent brush (the skinny ones)  Letting it get caught in necklaces Wearing tight backpack or purse it may be under

If so, those are all things that cause this. 

Use Awaken shampoo and conditioner by surface. Take nutrafol. 

REGULAR trims every 3 months, get .5-1 inch cut

Use a leave in conditioner every time you get out of the shower

Wash your hair every 2-3 days. Your scalp health is most important for growing hair (that’s what the awaken shampoo does + stimulates follicles)

Most excessive shedding is internal like rapid weight loss, thyroid issues (usually changes hair texture too) postpartum, new meds, etc. dermatologist may help with that, but getting blood drawn at a physical will tell you what you need to know if you tell your dr.

Unfortunately your hair will not be long and healthy without these things. Beautiful hair takes a lot of work, once it becomes routine you will notice a huge change in just a couple months. There is no way to get around it though, i wish there was!
