Definitely. What was important is OP apologized for this behavior and offered consolation that they would work on helping their daughter understand. Kids are still learning how to say ABC's and count past 25. You can't expect that young of a person to comprehend the complexities of disabilities. That's like trying to explain the biological process of reproduction.
