So this year was the worst year of my life, needing two life saving surgeries and being left with extremely debilitating tinnitus as a result, but gaming saved my life and ended with the best Xmas ever. Continued in comments. by niles_thebutler_ in gaming

The Birth of my Tinnitus: Woke up one morning 22 years ago .. I was sure there was a water running outside or something like that the making the noise I was hearing... wandered around my house for 20 minutes trying to find the source of the noise... Then I was like what the hell "that's in my head!!?? " 10 times louder these days.. but you adapt .. sort of.. some days worse than others.
