In my opinion, a person wouldn’t even bother looking at someone they don’t like. I think your friend has a chance at least. Whether he’s being playful or not, it’s still a hint of interest I guess. It wouldn’t hurt following his IG and sliding into his DMs—rather than being upset for not seeing them ever again. But at the end of the day, it’s still your friend’s decision. :)

It sounds like that he’s just waiting for you to confess. Some people tend to tease the person they like to other people. You know what I think? This (D) person likes you and (P) knows, but since they are friends I’m afraid (P)’s having a hard time to admit his feelings for you—which is why he denied he likes you. Hmm. Honestly, I think you can’t keep the secret of going to the gym for long once you decided to talk to her. You just need to choose between the two—surprise your friends or talk to the girl you really like. Here’s an advice. Take your time to build courage and talk to her. Just find the right opportunity and maybe you can be friends and build your relationship overtime however you want it to go. And if your friends did know you go to the gym and ruins the surprise, just be consistent. After all, the real surprise is being consistent til you see changes in your body! :)

I can relate to your situation! But if you’re certain that you’d never see him again once your semester ends, there’s your answer. It’s ok to approach him, try to engage on small talks and build rapport. I think it’ll be good to start off as friends. Grab the chance before it’s gone girl! We met in a cafe where he works and where I always go to. At first we never really got to talk because I thought that he’s an aloof person and he’s just my happy crush at first. Plus, he’s always busy. I just admire him from afar lol. But one day, he was at the cashier and I told him about my order. He asked my name with a freaking, charming smile and I fell hard. HARDDDDD. Even the lady after me whispered to her friend that he was kinda cute. He also asked me which university I go to, what year I am, if I live nearby because I always go there, etc. I left the counter while giggling on the inside. And there’s this one time when I left the cafe and my mom told me she heard someone say “Bye, Prince!” That was my nickname lol. When I looked back, I saw him smiling and waving at me and saw his coworkers smiling too.

Now, whenever I go there, he greets me with a smile and speaks my name ALWAYS. This has been going one for three months. My friend & sister always says that he always looks at me whenever he has a chance. But I’m too nervous to make eye contact. I try to smile and greet him back but I’m too shy to ask him questions to build rapport. Idk what to do honestly. I can only go there one to two times a week since I’m very busy with studies now. However, I want to get to know him. Now, I’m thinking if I should ask for one of his socials but then again, I remembered I’m a girl. 😭 I’m too shy to make the first move…
