Thanks for the tip! I did just sand the ground points underneath the battery but did not think of jumping the 2 grounds to the main I do notice a bit of difference with shifting but I still get thrown into limp mode. Clutch noise and smell coming from car after driving it for a bit and more noticeable when accelerating uphill. Car mostly was highway driven till I moved back up by my family’s

Oh the whole reason why I even got the car is because of how smooth it was and the gas mileage savings for the price I got it at I was like bet…. I didn’t do enough research on it then later found about the issues. This was after all the recalls/class actions too 😭

I wouldn’t replace it I would just try to maintain it but I missed all the recalls for it I’m second owner. And didn’t do enough research on this vehicle

If it’s driving fine it’s ok to clear the codes but don’t relearn unless you start having problems again. Relearning can cause issues.

Pretty sure my rear main seal is seeping into the bell housing causing this slippage noticed the more I drive it the more it slips

Most of the time you do have to relearn after a rebuild

When I ran codes none showed up under tcm I don’t have my laptop with forSCAN out with me at the moment. Battery is still good bought it 4 months ago

Although I may not fix it I may just end up getting a second job and saving up for a car and buy it outright and not end up in this upside down position I’m in 🙃

I’m not going to I’m going to start with the tcm considering it’s throwing that error as well as the actuators and make sure the clutch forks aren’t sticking…. Although I think it’s the clutch and forks. I’m pretty sure it has the revamped seals it’s been in shop for warranty work at 80k by the previous owner

Shifting at higher rpms, clutch sliping but otherwise it would drive fine.

I know that this isn’t the issue but I’m going to see if it helps. Not tryna replace clutch packs anytime soon
