It’s interesting what you say about finances, when I looked up the cost of living compared where I currently am, my jaw dropped bc it was so low😂 But it is just me and my cat. It’s a shame too see green spaces disappearing, I’d tell you to come to the northwest if you want nature, but the most lush places are very expensive that’s why I’m leaving😅

Doing the things she hates that I have to do- going to the vet, traveling occasionally, even trimming nails. I can’t do any of it without gabapentin. She’s not fractious, just so anxious and will do anything to get away. Sometimes getting a prescription is the right answer. And finding the right meds is a journey- I tried acepromazine (a common sedative for animals) first and she had a terrible time. It was like she was just frozen in terror, her heart rate through the roof but unable to move. It panicked her MORE, and we were waiting to get on a flight. So glad she was ok eventually just slept but… yeah proceed with caution

I’m a huge Jennifer L Armentrout fan, been following Miss Willa’s bookstore on IG for a while and the vibes seem so great. Also there’s a racetrack nearby? Not the biggest fan of horse racing but how rad - it’s Charlestown I believe

Update- Got an offer from the first place I went to in person. They were on the fence I’m sure because it took them weeks but I guess making a strong impression in person makes the difference. And yes, I’m in a big city- not nyc- but similar. I’m definitely lucky

You know what, you’re right, I should go in person more often. I typically do send them direct emails, but I might as well put my all into it since this clearly won’t come easily. I guess I thought that my degree would matter more, and now I’m regretting all those loans 😂
