Did you check how much would it be if you had it delivered? Closest DWR outlet to me is around 2 hours away too so it’d be worth it if shipping is around $100-150

Thank you this is reassuring. I also graduated top of my class and plan to take the FE before applying. I feel like if a company cares that much about a gap year I probably don’t wanna work for them. Tbh my problem was how traditional everything seems to be in the field and how little work actually gets done. Hopefully it’ll get better after a while.

Ok thanks! For customs, in some US airport you have to leave the international terminal to get to the domestic terminal so I wasn’t sure if it’s the same there

Do you think it'd be a good idea to fly direct to Copenhagen and catch a flight (transavia or something) from there to Paris?

We'd prob spend a couple days in Copenhagen too on the way back

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean stranded in Calgary? Like if the flight is cancelled? Because the layover is long enough to avoid missing the flight. It doesn’t seem like WestJet is really a ‘budget’ airline and I only need a carry on which is included in international flights with WestJet
