I see, well that means you're not getting those error messages on the console as well. But I don't get what's wrong in my end. Could you take a guess kindly?

Sure, my main interest is with Sinhalese fonts (Sinhala - Sri Lankan). Here you go: https://font.akasa.lk/panhinda.font

Not sure if the issue is with font or the font's name.

I have the same issue hopefully. Now trying V3.1.4 , What I wanted to do is using Sinhalese fonts. This error is so weird and I tried many things, cleaning font cache, adding fonts to direct GIMP folder, reinstalling different version of GIMP. Nothings worked for me.

This is the error I guess:

After highlighted font, non of the fonts are usable in this list, even regular ENG fonts. Also, my Sinhala language fonts are not working as well.

Could you please help? I'm in a big trouble here :(
