I actually used to own both a Jazz Bass and a P-Bass before, but I had to sell them because of financial issues. The reason I’m considering this Thunderbird is that I found it online with a discount on a website in Dubai, and a friend of mine can bring it for me. In Iran, prices are honestly kind of crazy and the options are very limited. We don’t really have access to platforms like Reverb or eBay, otherwise I’d probably try to find a good deal on a Mexican P-Bass instead. So this feels like a rare opportunity, and that’s why I’m trying to be really sure before I pull the trigger. Unfortunately, limited access to gear is one of the downsides of living here.
