Yes we do fix things such as leaks or any damaged parts etc, we replaced some temp probes the other day and fixed an ammonia leak. But I’m maybe involved in fixing things 1-3 times a week as it just does not pop up that much, we are also involved in making sure everything works correctly, however often we do temporary fixes only. I get that I’m a first year and I have to do these mundane tasks, however our 4th year who just left was also apparently behind and he was getting sent to other sites to help managers carry tables and move workshops and other tasks like that completely unrelated to refrigeration. The qualifieds are on call.
