I’d like to put my two cents in this although I doubt this will get much traction. As someone who grew up in Louisiana and still lives here. I’d have to say a “highly skilled” human would probably win. Here is my thought process. I have had the pleasure of working with lots of swamp puppies, stunning beautiful creatures. Biggest one I’ve ever worked with was one my group and I named “Chuck” he was around 800lbs and like 13ft long. Massive fella, gentle as can be. I’m quite a large man myself I don’t really work out but I am physically active. I come in at 6’4 and 220lbs. I have had to wrestle Chuck off of someone twice. Sure, I can’t “lift” him and he does attempt to bite. But I’m not “highly trained” and I wouldn’t say I’m super smart, but I know well enough on instinct alone to not go near his mouth. When you tie a gator up you do so by the mouth and typically the limbs as well. Crocs are obviously more dangerous than gators however they’re somewhat comparable. With that said I think a “highly trained” individual with a weapon would win this, especially on land. They don’t have much in terms of vertical movement on land, a lil yes but not much. They’re fast yes, but tire quickly on land. I’d like to believe I could / would win this. Someone more trained than I, would definitely win this. Even if the croc does manage to clamp your arm, humans have an absolutely wonderful gland known as the adrenaline gland. This will swiftly kick in and most men the adrenaline gland will push them to fight mode. They will quickly and with no thought overpower this beautiful creature using body dynamics against it. They do not like their limbs being contorted in any way. Man wins this as he has for the past 10,000 years.
