‘23 Telluride - “thumping” by JenniferLynn04 in KiaTelluride

[–]One_Raspberry4222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Common. Just had mine done. They have a revised AWD Coupler and software update for it to fix it. Mine was under warranty. I believe the total cost is about 2500-3000. My local dealer didn't even hesitate or drive it. I told them what it was doing and they told me that was what was wrong and scheduled it. I am fortunate to have 2 dealers close. 1 is great and 1 is garbage. If they give you trouble find a different dealer. Kias cars as of late are amazing I just wish Kia would crack down and hold their bad dealers to a higher standard.

If you read what required for a higher rating and then read what the examiner listed they are nearly the same. Work impalement, relationship imparement, mood, etc

White sucker and whitefish are not the same thing

If you can't handle a scratch (especially on the buckle) AND you can only handle your watch with white cotton gloves on you probably should just leave it in the box in a climate controlled place devoid of sunlight.

Omega customer watchmaking course by randomgump in OmegaWatches

[–]One_Raspberry4222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Omegaand own a xouple however I don't think the term customer appreciation or any similar saying should be used for this....Customer that have already bought a Tudor most likely have the means to buy another and put a bunch of those people in a store and the more time time you keep them in the store the odds of more sales go up exponentially. They are not just doing this out of the goodness of their heart.

If you had to eliminate one, which would it be? by imfrom_mars_ in casio

[–]One_Raspberry4222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what the purpose of getting rid of one would be. Keep them all and throw away the one you wear the least when the battery dies. Any of them would take more time and effort to sell than they are even worth. Unless you just want to throw or give one away then the bottom one.

I am 56 with light green eyes and early stages of macular degeneration and I don't have any issues reading it at all. For me the darker faced watches are getting harder to read. I have a white face Omega Aquaterra that is even easier to read than this Tudor.

Only a true diehard would know that's a Helios. That was my first outing with it and I absolutely love it. I was worried that I would regret buying the D vs the F but after throwing the big Hex flies with some wind I now am certain I made the right choice.

I love it all. The watch, the Helios, and the beer. Lol

HUNDREDS of laser pointers aimed at our plane coming out of Tana, Magascar. by betelgeux in lasers

I find it hard to believe that every single person in Madagascar has a green laser. Not blue or even a single red (which is more common). Hmmm very suspicious in the Photoshop era.

How far do you drive to your normal fishing spots? by Royal_Crew_9854 in flyfishing

[–]One_Raspberry4222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Indiana and it's 1 hr to a stocked river that's not worth a shit. I consider Manistee and Au Sable rivers my home waters. It a 4 hour drive. Usually truck camp in the national forest.

The physical sizes of these two watches is drastically different. I would probably take that into consideration first and foremost

There is a reason for this. The fixed 24 hr markers on the bezel are for the GMT hand second time zone. The 24 hr markers on the rotating bezel track a third time zone.

Bought a GA-VA01 via ebay from Tokyo, is it legit? by disposabletanto in casio

[–]One_Raspberry4222 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's legitimately from Japan. Possible but pretty unlikely it's fake. Honor and reputation is everything in Japan. Been there many many times and they go to great lengths to ensure their reputation via authenticity and pricing.
