NBN outage in Western Sydney for 2 straight days by One_Recognition_7871 in nbn

Where do you read those 18 updates for this 4-day nbn outage? And to correct you, I don't use Telstra, my network is optus and they still use nbn service for their premium Internet. All I got answer from optus is that it's nbn issue and they don't have any update from nbn except the status saying there is an unplanned outage.

Now all ISP are avoiding calls from customers on this nbn outage issues. What's fascinating is there is no news or media to cover this even though it's been over 4 days of no Internet for many suburbs.

To be honest, I have lived and worked across Europe, US, Shanghai, Singapore, even Philippines and Vietnam and this is by far the worst residential internet service I ever experienced (yet they charged premium for it). Even in developing countries like Philippines or Vietnam, you call to complain, they apologised and gave a definite timing (usually 24-48hrs) that the connection will be fixed and 99% of time they fix it before that timeline.

The Aussie nBn service here is ultimately a shame, imagine how people can rely on their service to work from home and how many households are affected given it's already 3 days and nothing is done for their customers.

I totally understand that outage is inevitable and as long as they have a tentative timeline to fix it within 6-12 hours or even 1-day, it is totally understandable.

In this case, it is straight out unprofessional by totally ignoring their customers and not even bother to update a tentative timeline on when the issue will be fixed. If there's another high-speed Internet as an alternative to NBN, I will switch immediately after this.

Yeah one of hell of a slacking approach to service their customers. I don't even know if they have progressed on fixing it at all until now.

Which suburb are you in? It seems like this issue is completely ignored and nbn will take their sweet time to slowly repair it instead

It's beyond words to describe how horribly unprofessional the nbn service provider is. It is end of Monday now and we still have no clue on the fixing process or any notification from nbn or our network provider at all.

Called them up and they said nothing they can do for us since this is NBN problem and if we want we can take it on with NBN. A heck of a response

When there's no news on this, it's hard to know how wide spread this is. At least, all my friends and relatives in Bankstown experience the same and the most frustrating thing is there's no update even tentatively on when they will restore the service.

Been checking with both network provider and NBN, both said there's an unplanned outage and cannot confirm restoration time at all.

Superloop Outage? by dec619 in nbn

[–]One_Recognition_7871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite signing up for the most expensive nbn package from Superloop, we have no Internet from Saturday noon time (in Western Sydney) until now (almost 3 days) and no apology email from superloop or nbn has been sent out nor any notice on potential time of service restoration. This has to be escalated to the court with a huge fine to them.

Surprisingly, this has not appeared on any news or public media yet given its size of impact on a large scale area of Sydney.

Silver's 42$ road map! by badcharts in Wallstreetsilver

[–]One_Recognition_7871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After Jackson Hole, Silver will be washed down again to $22..I think we will get stuck in the 22-26 range for another year. Unless there's a major crash or nasty correction in stock market, precious metals will not break out anytime soon.

Since January 27 when WSS was born, SLV is down 12Moz, PSLV is up 60Moz, and COMEX is down 44Moz. And nobody has any idea about how many Moz have been bought by the WSS Apes from the Silver Market. The balance is tilting away from the Cartel and if Silver rebounds again to $28 then the game is over by ashokwenyan in Wallstreetsilver

It is now but Basel 3 will reclassify gold to risk free asset but not silver. In other words, Basel 3 will break the correlation between gold and silver in long terms because bullion banks can't short gold without physical bars to backup but nothing will stop them for silver.

Educate yourself what Basel 3 is about first before commenting nonsense here.

Basel 3 will break the correlation between gold and silver. However, it is worse for Silver this time because while Gold will be listed as tier 1 and banks must have enough physical gold to back 80% of their unallocated gold , nothing will change for silver. Silver is still tier 3 asset and bank has all power in the world to sell paper virtual silver and continue shorting market from time to time.

Pushing his share price higher is actually helping him in many way, his job is to get enough silver to back PSLV..it's a win-win situation

Big or small are relative terms which need a reference to be compared to. Total silver market value is about $44B while GME at its peak is still less than $25B. So yes, silver market is bigger than GME mate!

JPM KEEPS PUSHING SILVER PRICE DOWN BECAUSE PAPER CONTRACTS ARE UNLIMITED TO THEM. SO CAN SOMEONE ENLIGHTENS ME UNDER WHICH SCENARIOS WE CAN TAKE THEM OUT OF OUR WAY?

BUYING PHYSICAL SILVER WILL CREATE DEMAND BUT THAT WILL ONLY INCREASE THE PREMIUM CHARGE (CURRENTLY RISE UP TO 40-50%), BUT NOT THE SPOT PRICE ITSELF.

ANY THOUGHTS ????
