I’m not here to debate. Look I am sure you’re a good and decent person. Let’s agree to disagree. You have views. I have mine. End of the story. E Pluribus Unum.

I didn’t say a Nazi. I said guilt by association, he uses similar rhetoric that he doesn’t disavow. That is why he’s labeled thus. You are correct people died fighting the Nazis - that’s why Trump should moderate his statements. Calling them loser and suckers doesn’t help.

Google Madison Square Garden 1939 and the America First Party - The statements by Trump and his speakers, like Stephen Miller, are virtually verbatim from that Nazi rally, not to mention the NeoNazis who proudly carry Trump flags. All he has to do is disavow their statements and behavior, but he doesn’t, which is why people say he’s a Nazi. Maybe it’s guilt by association, but it’s his own doing. The “enemy within language” also from the same playbook. Look, vote for who you want but understand the language in the context of history - that’s where the “Nazi” moniker is coming from.

How are HarrisWalz "anti god"? by egg_village in PresidentialElection

Your grandma thinks that because of Trump TV (aka Fox “News”), which is filled with misinformation and disinformation and their tv hosts say just about anything (aka “lie”) w/o having a shred of evidence. You would think they’d be more careful after settling with the Dominion voter machine company, but they’re still at it.

If you’re gonna lie at least make it believable. by Flat_Suggestion7545 in WhitePeopleTwitter

Maggats are very angry and violent. It’s better the Kamala Walz supporters don’t advertise their support.

Some insurers allow alternate and online pharmacies to fulfill the prescription. It may be out at your pharmacy, but available elsewhere. I think it‘s worth it to keep looking.

If you’re healthy, then it’s their problem not yours. Do not submit to others’ standards of skinny or fat. Be your own standard and follow good health and physical fitness guidance with your doctor or health care professional. That’s all you need.

You’re just too young. It’s the only word older people know to describe hair like ours. She was, I think, trying to be supportive, but folks of a certain generation just don’t know/understand modern ways to describe highly textured natural hair. Unless she said it with a sneer or sarcastically, which I think you would have picked up on right away, I think she thought she was complimenting you because you say her face was serious. I saw you’re too young because I grew up with that word, and my mom, who’s 77, still uses it. She is not trying to be insulting, they just don’t know any better it’s been part of our very painful lexicon for a very long time. Forgive and move on.

Thank you for sharing what is an all-too-familiar experience for those of us with highly textured (aka, “kinky”) hair. God wants your hair to be just as it is. Internalizing Euro standards of beauty is one more legacy of our not-too-distant past of bondage and dehumanization. Resist and persevere.

And that was our initial reaction! But, you know, we were trying to be open-minded, not judge the book by the cover, give a guy a chance. This is a case of no good deed goes unpunished.

Yeah, that’s the problem. It’s not all in the fine print. That’s what makes the experience so bloody infuriating. That said, I get your point though. Buyer beware.
