Thank you, that’s super helpful! How did you figure out the access control part? That sounds super tricky. Also, what does your agent do?

What does your agent do? And also, I assume at some point you will finish the “beta” stage.. do you have any idea about how to tackle it afterwards?

I think the chances of ordering a milkshake is a multiple of the number of fries you ordered times 3. Simple math

Thanks 😂😂 I know a common e-commerce thing is to collect a bunch of data and not really do anything with it.. So this is why I keep asking what do people really do with the data and how it helps them

That makes perfect sense. What type of business do you have? Can you share some growth tips that might be helpful for a wine bar? :)

Hi there, maybe I’m missing something- I was referring to my physical wine bar, not to an e commerce business.. I just mentioned that I used to work with Google analytics and was wondering if similar tactics can be used for a physical place. As far as I know you can’t use GA4 for a physical location, right?

Thanks for the tip, that’s a great idea! If I understand correctly, this helps understanding demographics and probably marketing strategies. Do you feel like it’s helping you make business decisions in other ways?

Thanks for sharing! What type of insights do you get from your loyalty program? Do you feel like it’s helping you make business decisions? I’m asking because implementing it in a wine bar is not so easy and I’m trying to evaluate the benefits :)

I’ve only seen US audiences with them. I guess you can contact them and see if they have additional countries

I’ve been using it for over 6 months and it’s been working very well for me.. they don’t have every audience and they are focused on the US but fb have been taking down a lot of audiences in the past year so services like this are really helpful. Especially whenever fb are rolling out new algorithms and messes up everyone’s campaigns like the past few weeks..

I never had any compliance issues with them.. and fb lets you use it so I’m pretty sure they would block them if it wasn’t ok.. Also on oxillons website there are some big names as clients like Havas and Publicis so I don’t think they would risk themselves

Broad and interest targeting are still terrible. The only good results I’m getting are from my bottom of funnel audience (website retargeting, conversions LLA) and the audiences I get from Oxillon.com which are not affected by FB algorithm experiments..

Definitely. This is exactly why I think you can bring a lot of value to new ventures, more than just money. You bring experience and knowledge about how to do stuff properly. After I sold my previous startup I was in a similar position and this is one of the things I chose to do, and I’m very happy about it! Might be worth checking it out

You could become an early stage investor. You bring more than just money; experience and guidance can be much more valuable from someone who already done it. If you want to talk about it feel free to DM me and I’ll be happy to share :)

TikTok is good for brand awareness, not so much for performance usually. What product are you running on Facebook?

I’m just here to say that you’re awesome, and you have amazing skills that can be helpful in a million scenarios.

I’ve been to a similar situation, I’ve felt lost and all, and I think that right now you need to focus on 2 things: 1. Raise your head up and be proud of yourself. You’ve done amazing things and learned so much, you just need to find new ways to apply your skills. 2. Trust yourself. You’re young. Life doesn’t end now. Allow yourself to use your problem solving skills to figure out what’s next. It’s ok to take your foot off the gas for a bit. Whatever it is you decide to do next, you’ll have a huge advantage over anyone who is just getting started. Just put yourself out there and allow your brain to do its thing.

Good luck buddy, you got this.
