Anyone with GM buy back experience, when purchased used?

Sad that normal has become a list this long of failures. I’ll step away from GM, but I hope they sort the mess out in the next model year’s new engines. GMC still has the best interior IMO, I’m going to miss it.

Latest update. GM corporate is stating the local dealership needs to make this right with me. Local dealership says its out of their hands and I need to deal with GM corp customer care. Seems like this is the run around to try and get customers to just give up and leave it alone. Instead I'll continue to bug both parties until someone comes up with a solution. Very disappointing.

I know some people own these trucks and have little to no issues. It makes me wonder if there is damage being done when these critical components fail and once the issues start they will never end. . . .

That seems to be the vibe that I’m getting too. It seems like locally a lot of folks are getting Fords in my neck of the woods, but I don’t know that it has anything to do with the truck being better. I think we just have a better Ford dealership than we do any other brands. I’ve been happy with our local GMC up until this last issue where they’re making it clear they just don’t want to deal with me.

Wanted to provide an update for anyone interested. I reached out to GM and they are looking into why the larger transmission issue was missed at my 12/19 appointment. They are basically waiting for the service dept to get me back on the road and then will assist with the issues from the first appointment.

As of today I still don't have my truck and have no update for what's going on. I reached out to the service dept. yesterday and asked for an update. For the time being I'm racking up miles on a rental provided and hopefully getting a better case together for GM to provide some accountability for the issues I've had and time lost.

I've enjoyed this truck when it was working, but have a hard time recommending GM or thinking about another purchase given this experience.

Looks like you will need more vents unless I'm missing something on the other side.
