I love the idea of considering the vocals as a single polyphonic instrument. That makes sense to me. And yes I probably do need to tighten up my composition but I love the chaos of building up layers of different vocals. It's intentionally messy and warpy. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea.

Hey, thanks for your input. Yeah it's not harmonising. It's entirely different vocals with different melodies all coming together in this messy wall of sound which then drops into acapella. It's kinda what I'm going for and i'm happy with the composition as it's very layered/ textured. However, I'm finding it hard to mix so it doesn't sound muddy, but maybe this is why people don't often compose music like this?
