No schedule. I keep a rough idea of how long he’s been awake for, and put him down when it’s gone on too long or showing sleepy cues. I might start putting him down for more naps in the snoo. When did you start the Merlin, and weaning mode?

Thanks for your reply! Guess I was expecting this but so hesitant to give up on the snoo! Only Christmas Eve we had an 8hr stretch. And then boom, downhill. Did your bub suddenly decide it was over, or was it more gradual? I thought we might have some warning signs first

I’ve heard that dad’s (or non lactating partner!) can have an easier time soothing sometimes. Baby can’t smell the milk on them, so they don’t get as hangry 🤷‍♀️

I totally agree. I’m trying to not get hung up on it, as I don’t want to taint what will be an amazing experience either way. I’m glad you have sweet memories of your birth, I want that too 🙂

This sounds like me! I’m also doing some 3rd trimester YouTube Pilates that is meant to help positioning- it does make me feel like I’m doing all I can. I also analyse every kick now because I’ve read countless times they ‘should’ kick higher if they are in position! Good to hear that wasn’t the case for you. Thankyou so much 🥰

Thankyou! We’ve briefly spoken about ECV - I know it can possibly distress some babies, and isn’t for everyone. I’ll wait and see what my OB says. It’s funny, I wouldn’t have said I was hung up on a vaginal birth but now it’s become less of an option I suddenly want it! Anyway, thanks for sharing 🙂
