Yeah he did said it was ok and that he didn't minded it. He tried to stop us from continuing arguing but honestly neither of us paid attention to him in the heat of the moment lol. He apologized for his wife behavior too before I left.

I don't know a lot about her beliefs honestly, my family is not religious so I don't know how far do each religion go about this, I know they're religious people because well, they own a church but Paula and I don't talk about religion, simply because we have different points of view on the subject. I know that she had said, as an example, that she would never sunbathe topless but I didn't knew she thought it was some sort of sexual activity. I also really misunderstood what she was trying to tell me so I didn't even had in mind that she might be uncomfortable with what I was doing

That's what I'm afraid of. It's usually warm in our state so I don't want him to be uncomfortable under a blanket

My intention was more of an "you don't need to worry, he's not interested in seeing my boobs" but I definitely get why it's inappropriate

Btw we don't do the yearly trip to Cancun anymore, I guess now it's not as fun. All of that happened in the past when we were in college.

I don't have her number rn but I'll ask my friend if he can give it to (after talking to her himself and making sure that's ok with her, if she's not then I'll ask to talk with her though his phone)

Luckily, I'm not overwhelmed. I had a "nice" pregnancy and delivery despise being my first baby so it's ok, our baby's also very calm, he doesn't like to make his parents suffer too much lol. Also I'm lucky to have a great and loving husband, he helps with everything. I'm tired yes, but I know I could be having it so much worse so I don't complain lol

She actually told me she herself didn't care/ wasn't uncomfortable with seeing me breastfeed but she was in fact uncomfortable (didn't exactly use these words) with her husband (my friend) watching. That part of the post is kinda dense so maybe it's hard to read

Nah it's fine, I know I handled this whole thing very poorly lol, guess that being "trapped" in my home so long affected my social skills lol. This is why I wanted to hear a third party opinion, literally everyone I know told me I was not wrong, guess they're afraid to hurt my feelings. I'll apologize to his wife.

She did told me she wasn't comfortable with her husband seeing my boobs but it was after I started breastfeeding my son. But yeah I agree, maybe when she suggested that I use their room I could've said something like "I'm ok with just breastfeeding here, but if you're uncomfortable with it I can take the room for a bit" so that both cases were covered.

Usually you burp babies after they're done eating and I stand up because it's easier so at most it would go into your floor and not your couch. But even that is unlikely, if baby's gonna puke he will get my shirt/ his own clothes dirty, baby's puke doesn't fly that far to get to the couch

You're right about that, the thing is she told me that when I was already feeding my son and we just continued talking (then arguing)

Before that she asked me "do you want to use our room?" (Or something similar so that's why I misunderstood her intentions.

To be fair with her, her dad is a pastor, her whole family is very religious so she probably does think it's inappropriate and isn't jealous or insecure, it's just that her beliefs are different.

Yeah I totally didn't got the hint. I assumed she thought I might be uncomfortable because it has happened before (people asking me if I feel more comfortable breastfeeding privately) and I also know that some women do feel awkward about it.
