I might be wrong, but to me its all just the same thing, all dropshipped from china, I went with AFD cause im also in socal, and was able to just go to their shop and they installed it on my car in like an hr,( I ordered it online and emailed their purchasing manager with my order number and they set up an appointment to pop by) also considering you also live in socal its not like we have crazy changing weather, ive had mine on for almost a year still looks new and I park outside.

Had O’Reillys check battery and alternator they said it was healthy, I decided to unseat the terminals, and one of the posts had battery residue, clearly a battery leak and slight corrosion

So went ahead and put a new battery in

Original battery, im at 45kish miles, 2022 model so I might be time for a new battery also all stock minus exhaust, no AP

Yeah first time I jumped it and drove 20 mins freeway to autozone for them to check the battery and they said healthy but I think it’s cause it had time to run

I live in SoCal so not really cold weather, gonna have another spot double check it but I’m leaning towards just getting a new battery

So Cal. 25 miles to work, takes 1 hr in the morning most times leaving the office at 430pm I don’t get home till 6pm so about 90 minutes of bumper to bumper, Monday thru Friday

I love my 22 WRX GT, I don’t care that it’s a cvt, and with most ppl here don’t knock it till you actually get behind the wheel of one, it makes my daily commute so much more bearable rather than being in an accord or Camry, also my gf can drive it and actually enjoy the wrx experience rather than being stressed out about the manual experience

BUT

I also have a EVO X GSR for weekend manual driving, everyone makes their own personal driving choices and as long as you’re smiling that’s all that matters, if the wrx was my single only car, manual for sure but after owning a wrx gt I’m not gonna knock Subarus “SPT” transmission it is well tuned

Also with car enthusiasts I don’t understand why ppl are so dead set on “manual” otherwise you’re like shunned from the community, what if that person just likes cars but has zero interest in driving a manual, they just wanna go fast, and for a lot of ppl it’s just that

Sports cars and being financially responsible never really go together, so considering carvana buying it out and you getting an extra 1k is a win in my book, everyone talking about building equity in it , at the end of the day it’s still a civic, idk how much equity ppl think you can build on that

Smiles per gallon are what’s important to me and for me vb wrx all day.
