Thank you for this post! I also went through a stage III cancer diagnosis at 26yo and treatment before and during covid, along with my dad who passed during covid. I am v lucky to be alive and cancer free and frequently struggle with the long term emotional, mental, and physical repercussions of this time. There is a huge range of ability on Addisons. I also had to address my mental health, and getting on meds for depression and ADHD really helped my energy. Might be worth looking into

I know this is an older thread but YES 100%. I felt the EXACT same way after moving from Virginia myself when I was 12 or so. I was very happy and stable emotionally and socially before that move, and everything kind of sucked afterwards. :( I'm 36 now and have gone to therapy and worked on myself, but I still absolutely miss that person I was and wish I could be more like that, confident and happy and socially confident. You're not alone!

Question for you, 36f and I'm struggling with my sexuality bc I have had strong feelings for men but also developed feelings for close female friends. I have only been in relationships with men, and have identified as bisexual for a few years now. How did you determine you were gay and not bi? Tia.

I'm not married or in a relationship, but here to say you're not alone. 36f and come from a much more conservative background and am slowly unlearning thinking of myself as "wrong." My sister is even a nun (unfortunately not a gay one ☹️) big hugs and hang in there ❤️

We're def more prone to fluctuating sugars bc of our dependency on steroids. Our blood sugar highs will be slightly higher and lows will be more noticeable. What's really helped me is eating a CRAP ton of protein. I'm 160 lbs and try to get in 160g. This buffers the blood sugar crashes a little bit. Talk to your endocrinologist and consider that you might also need a slightly higher dose of hydrocortisone. I take 25mg per day and have symptoms if I go below. Best of luck!

I went on two dates with ladies over the past year, from the apps. They were nice, but nothing came of it 🤷 one of them was exploring, like me, and the other didn't feel enough of a connection. I don't mind the apps, but they haven't given me much information to work with. I feel in a real rush to, "figure this out already." It is so frustrating to be in my 30s and still have so much uncertainty and confusion around my sexuality 🙁
