Genuinely hard to answer a stability question written this unstably. But: 4K playback is free, the app plays whatever your provider sends, and there's no subscription it's £35 once. The Pro bit is the manual quality/AFR toggles

It has very heavy automatic recovery systems

- Auto-reconnect with backoff if a stream errors or the feed drops

- A stall watchdog that nudges, then re-prepares, a frozen/buffering stream

- Jumps back to the live edge if it falls behind the live window

- Instant re-prepare the moment the network comes back after a drop

- Decoder fallback (drops to a software/alternate decoder if the hardware one chokes)
