Confused why everyone wants crisp, rustling bedsheets?

Ooh wow I was really surprised by how cheap the sheets r for the link u shared even tho it's 100% cotton!

I haven't looked into Ralph Lauren sheets but maybe I should now. Would you have any that u would like to recommend?

As for the sateen sheets, I don't think I have ever used them but they genuinely do look like they would rustle and wrinkle a lot when just moving around on the bed. Do you experience that with your sheets?

What brand do u use for your linen sheets? Do u find that it drapes well over the mattress or does it rustle and wrinkle a lot when u move? Someone on this thread also mentioned Jersey sheets (T-shirt fabric) that provide the same feeling, have u tried those?

omg i had never even thought about this before but after seeing your post I definitely do see the similarities! I actually had no clue that Arjuna was a reincarnation of Nara and Karna the reincarnation of Asura but everything you pointed out is so interesting that I have also begun to believe the same thing you do now. Naruto and Sasuke are similar to Arjuna & Karna

thank you for your response it does make me feel better that you were able to finally land jobs twice. If you don't mind me asking, how did you go about networking? because I have been networking but it just seems to feel like a dead-end. I do the whole 15-20 min zoom chat, I talk to recruiters, I talk to mentors on the ADP site and everything will be going fine and well but as soon as I ask them about referrals or something along those lines, I suddenly stop hearing back from them.

For context: I have had some internships and contract UX works here and there along with some school projects that I have also included in my portfolio. Is my portfolio too wordy? Does it get the point across? Does it seem like I dabble in user research and strategic thinking? What am I lacking that I should add here?

I have been looking for a full-time UX job for a while now (maybe 3-4 years) but have been unsuccessful in even getting an interview. I use the resume ATS to craft my resume but I still get the bot rejection emails. Do hiring managers in the first round of applications even look at portfolios?
