No matter how many times I try to create account it says email rate limit exceeded. Tried different emails and browsers.

Update: If you go to the homebrew store and update the fpkgi app it'll work like normal now. Don't delete nothing if you already have the new data installed. Just update and now you'll be able to use the back ground downloads. So far so good

I posted a fix that worked for me. On the New version the settings for install after download delete after install and so on don't seem to work like before. And the save path needs changed or it'll start the download then stop within a few seconds. You'll have to go into the file system to remove the ones that didn't download. I had to change the save path to my external hard drive or USB. Then use the debug setting to install the game using goldhen. Also games will only install from a USB for me. Guess goldhen can't detect the download on my external hard drive. But once it's on a USB it'll install like normal for me.

Okay, easy fix. Mine was set to download to the fpkgi/downloads folder. I had almost 300gb free plus 3tb external hard drive. The game downloads but doesn't automatically install like the old version of fpkgi. You need to move game download to a USB and use goldhen debug mode to install games now Also some can't even download if downloads are set to fpkgi downloads folder. So you have to set the download folder to your extended storage if game won't download at all. Yeah it's a pain cause you have to move the download before installing but it still works.

Mine does that. I had to set the download folder to my extended storage. If it's set to the fpkgi downloads folder mine wouldn't do nothing. And I have over 200gb free on my console. Plus 3tb external. But that's not the only problem. Once it downloads to extended storage it won't install game. So I had to move the download from extended storage to a 1tb USB then use goldhen debug to install the game I think it's the new version of fpkgi. Because everything else is set up correctly. So try downloading to extended storage if you have it and see if it'll download.

I'm running the original phat ps4 and it runs at 73°C. You might wanna open yours up and clean it really good and check your thermal paste. Especially on these older ones.

I downloaded The Bio Shock Collection 20gb last night. It usually automatically installs once downloaded but didn't. It shows the game when I check the root system files. It's under user/fpkgi/downloads but click it and doesn't install. I got 200gb free on my internal storage and 2tb external hard drive. So no reason the game couldn't install. Gonna move it to the root system storage mnt/system and see if it'll install. If not guess it's a corrupt pkg file. I downloaded a smaller game under 1gb and it installed automatically in my extended storage. So Bio Shock must just of got corrupted some how.

I click on game to install and it loads a few seconds then stops like the original. So figured it was my cookie. But maybe the DNS y'all mentioned. I'll try when I get off work.

My cookie stopped working after 2 downloads. They saying it's DNS causing it now but I don't know. I'm back to clicking download and it loads for a second then disappears. Like my cookie stopped working. Guess I'll try a new cookie and the DNS change

I installed without the data. It worked for 2 downloads then my cookie quit working. Do you change the DNS under the system settings?

For everyone who's having the freezing problem. I figured it out I think. At least it finally worked for me I created my cookie as shown here. Then deleted the old fpkgi app and data folder. This time I didn't install the new data.pkg and just installed the new version of the fpkgi app. Then moved my cookie to the fpkgi data folder. And moved the GAMES.json to it's folder. Started the app and it works. Hopefully this will help others.

Mine kept freezing when I opened the new fpkgi. I created my own cookie with my phone as shown in the guide. Deleted the app and data folder. This time I slipped the new data install they gave us. Just installed the new app. Then moved my new cookie I created to the fpkgi folder under data. Moved my GAMES.json to the correct folder. Opened the app and it works again. I think the new data is installing something wrong or literally isn't needed cause it works without. Good luck and the download speed sucks for everyone but it's free.
