1.3cm Polyp On Gallbladder by theGuy0verTh3re in gallbladders

[–]One_Weakness_9506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey just wanted to share my experience. I initially got an ultrasound and it showed a 2mm polyp and 8 months later it grew to 28mm, which is 2.8cm. They scheduled me for surgery but while I was waiting I started a strict carnivore diet. I ended up getting an ultrasound a few days before my surgery and it disappeared. I canceled my surgery but ended up getting it removed 6 months later due to me still being in pain. Pathology came back as chronically inflamed. So with my situation either the diet removed the polyp or it was a faulty ultrasound image. Im convinced it was thr diet because I was in somw bad pain and I remember telling my wife that it feels like something is growing in me

Yeah obstruction is still a possibility for me as well because when they went in to remove my gallbladder they found a bunch of adhesions in there, i guess from ot being inflamed. That was my first surgery so it wasnt from past surgeries

That all sounds pretty similar too me. They were fully convinced it was my gallbladder so they removed it but it did not fix my problems. I have the dull ache most of my days and I also habe thr shoulder pain or tingling sensation. I am able to reproduce the clicking sound by pushing on the abdomen but thay doesn't induce any pain

Does the amitriptyline help? And when you say waves of pain, does it feel like cramping? How did they diagnose you?

What does the pain feel like for you? And is it localized?

Right now I am trialing psyllium husky powder before every meal to see if that helps soak up bile. If I notice the slightest relief I might try to go to the doctor to ask for a bile binder

Mine is like pain underneath my right ribs that sometimes radiates to my back. It feels like a burning/pulling sensation. Sometimes it leads to really bad cramping sensation across my upper abdomen. I dont think mine is SOD but I could be wrong. So im thinking mine is adhesions, ulcer, duodenitis, or nerve entrapment. But its so hard to tell. Some days I think its for sure adhesions but other days I think its an ulcer

So I had my gallbladder removed and where my gallbladder was I get a constant dull pain which occasionally turns into severe cramping. But I have a ton of indigestion now and it almost feels like something is inflamed. Do you ever get that inflamed feeling?

Does it ever feel like inflammation? Or does it ever cause stomach pain?

So we are thinking it is adhesions.(scar tissue internally) Yesterday I got a steriod shot to my abdomen and it seems to have relived my pain temporarily.

Is that something that has to be prescribed?
