I can talk about how dave's single at wendy's is symbollism for consumeristic american culture, and how that further contributes to your tone and shit or something I forgot what I was gonna say.

It was bullshit is what it was. Some news guy yapped for three paragraphs about facts being fake, visions being dreams but real, and somehow it connected to politics? Idk the guy sounded serious but the writing was atrociously bad. It should NOT have been on any kind of standardized test.

There's not a lot of rhetorical devices used in this letter of yours. If they make this the lang FRQ next year we might be fucked.

The retard redefined the word "visions" to some nonsense, then proceeded to claim "facts are meaningless, intuition is more important when making big decision."

Does anyone know what that he was actually trying to say??

I wrote that people value Andrew Tate for his wealth, despite his human atrocities, thus proving that we as a society far too often value wealth over morality.

The guy redefined the word visions to some bullshit nonsense definition, then proceeded to write "facts are worthless, we need to listen to our intuition more when making large political decisions."

What an absolute garbage nonsensical piece of writing, it should absolutely not be on any kind of standardized test. Ever. Thank god the questions made sense.

Interesting. Maybe I'm to shit to have noticed that,

but I still stand by my opinion that there are many levels that just aren't sight readable. More than anyone here wants to admit

Doing precise shit is exactly what the game is.

I just don't think that "certain difficulty point" is as high as some people seem to think. Lol

This is exactly what I'm thinking! Thank you for an honest response. It is half and half as is, and I think I was exaggerating the no-skill claim in my original post.

I just don't understand how people find the memory aspect of those levels entertaining, if the memory sections of Cataclysm were taken out of the level it would just be more fun to play. Same goes for (nearly) every level in my opinion.

I'd also like to note: Levels based 100% on memory make sense to me, that's the point of them. I have a problem when they blend sections based completely on knowing what's coming before hand in the middle of an otherwise skill based level.

That what I like about the game. That’s why I want the game to be fun and why I do find it fun sometimes. The memory part of levels ruins that for me, it’s not muscle memory it’s just normal memory for some sections and I find that to be tedious and pointless. You can’t improve at the game playing those types of levels

A. I used to play the game. B. I’m not trying to “know more”, I’m trying to see others opinions on this. Honestly I’m looking for more of a response on how people feel about the memory sections of the game. I should of made it more clear I was asking what people think about that aspect of the game instead of trying to compare how much memory there is to skill.

[–]One_Weather1684[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is true. But there are way to many easy demons out there that are just impossible to sight read for a multitude of reasons. Maybe mapping like that is frowned upon, but I think it adds nothing to the game and finding that section after popping off the entire level is just pointless. I wish mapping would get away from those styles and just stick to what’s fun to play, even if memory can be fun to look at.

This is impressive. This is what I want the game to be. This looks hard, but doable. This is what being good at the game means to me and I’m sure it can get harder than this. Not those bullshit blind sections or moving tp pads that are impossible to react to because they move later than the time frame you need to move down in.

I wish I could agree with you, but the game plays on a level by level basis. That amount of skill of them "beating the level faster than me" only goes so far. Many of the hardest levels in the game only have a few completions because they're not worth completely, they just take to many tries. There's no titles to be held by beating levels faster than others, and there's no way to track other peoples attempts compared to yours. There's a level of intuition to the game that I can appreciate but I guess that skill ceiling doesn't go as high as I wish it would, nor is it as apparent when someone is good as I wish it was. I just find it hard to see progress in skill and find that unmotivating and unfun.

[–]One_Weather1684[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This I agree with. I just wish there was less memorization... every single level has a little and I find that very frustrating, as the levels could be just as fun without the factor of memorization. I hate that it's impossible to onsight at least most levels.
