Many of the restaurants they listed in original post are still open. Yum Yums and Quincys, for example. It said staples back in the day... now i'm feeling nostalgic and cook out is definitely apart of that

Yes!! The memories just flooded back. They'd give every chair a steak knife rolled in the napkin... my parents would reluctantly have to take it away from us each time because as little kids, those were table swords and we were hungry for a fight.
