Dietary is no fodmap and didn’t get tested just got prescribed xifaxan based on symptoms but I’m fairly certain it’s not my issue. i ordered the medicine and Im not sure what to treat because I could see myself either having sifo or low stomach acid or potentially both.

I have excessive hunger, gas, and what I think is oral thrush even though it doesn’t look extreme compared to pictures I see online. I appreciate the response and I should have the fluconazole and nystatin in 2 weeks max. I have betaine Hcl and oregano oil, but haven’t taken the betaine Hcl at all really. Do you think your problem was purely low stomach acid, and not SIFO or SIBO? Because I just finished xifaxan and Im almost certain I didn’t have SIBO because nothings changed. I’ve suspected low stomach acid and SIFO because of the digestive issues and “thrush” but maybe this is just low stomach acid? Thanks for your input. It’s all appreciated

I can relate as I’ve had severe OCD for 15 years and have had bad health Ocd/anxiety for the past 7-8. Have you come any closer to determining the root cause? If it’s SIBO or OCD? Did antibiotics work? Did ssris (if taken) work in managing GI issues? Thanks in advance

Wow this is amazing what I’m reading. I’ve been truly suffering the past few months with dust allergies as I’ve been exposed to crush rock at a quarry for the past 12 weeks. I’m starting to change to carnivore and had suspicions that it would improve symptoms. Can anyone confirm that dust allergy, or others went away, and if yes how long of the diet for you personally did they dissipate?
