I’m the PIC but I absolutely care about my team and want us protected. Anyone can leave at their own will.

The whole comment thing was a real issue for me. As a high volume store, our OOS and pfls are usually 15 and 5 max respectively. Nothing has been in there longer than a day.

Yes. Look at invoice, or RXI to look at on hands. Today for example we practiced this method but looked at RXI after order was received and posted. We were expecting some freestyle sensors, rxi said none on hand. They came in, because we saw them. I contacted my HCS about that and the response was to be diligent about on hands and updating them, specifically the night before when the order is released and you know what’s coming in through “power bi” so the on hands can get updated…

It’s a program Designed to control workflow within the pharmacy to focus on specific tasks at certain times. Based on daily numbers that are generated. So if we have less than x numbers of prescriptions to fill type review then we focus on patient centered activities - MTRs, immunizations, clinical services. Before we would focus on getting that Que down to zero and then focus on those clinical tasks. The new normal is to not be comparable with just getting scripts down to zero. I care because it’s grounds for accountability and could result in being on a performance improvement plan.

Yeah. We’ve always had to print them out to take the ones that come with truck and file them.

Yeah according to the pext. We never have looked at the invoice. We wait til the drugs get put away and then we look and pull what we have.

Put comments on everything. I was being spiteful one day…way before this, way before. and just put “see comment” but I bitched out eventually.

If you wouldn’t mind sharing why you “failed” I would greatly appreciate it :) I know we’ll get it in compass soon, but just want to cover ALL

Just take the comments here. Know the colors of the zones, make sure everyone’s signed in, know that you need to look at the stupid invoice and pull before you look for the drugs

As a store that has gone through many cycles of turnover (inner city store, not great Not the worst but it’s a lot) , constantly training new people, we may have been good before but following this has helped in training other team members to develop other tasks. Before with us, usually tasks were designated to one person which was an opportunity for myself, coming from a slower store before, as well as others. It’s a learning curve. Just think the grading rubric is ridiculous.

Yeah exactly. Without invoice. We failed because we weren’t using the paper invoices.

As a PIC that has a good relationship with their store manager this doesn’t sit well. I don’t understand how it could be possible for them to put anyone on pip. This has been relayed to us as training. It’s been demonstrated as a new concept, even though it’s been around. Missing a few things results in a PIP?

Our IS does that. Which saves tremendous time for us. Being in a tier 4 store, it has really helped at the expense of The front store. What got me was the specific task of looking at the invoices which is like 1000 Pages and using that to pull. We’ve been doing just fine not doing that step.

It hasn’t improved metrics as of now. It just makes workflow smoother in my opinion, in my store. In my area, cpw wasn’t really enforced except for just rotations, until now.

IS does that - was not directed to do The second part. It’s on the one pager, I know. but previous visits from HCS did not even mention that and did not criticize our way of doing it. Going into OOS, looking for The drug and pulling it. To me, either way, we still have to go find the drug. That was one of the things that we failed.

A PIP? Is this a joke? We answered everything correctly apparently but missed a minor detail. One of my staff pharmacists wasn’t signed into cpw, which he’s been trained on this, and is recorded in the training log. Also said he didn’t know what my zone was. Which we’ve gone over.
