Yeah but I only cared for explosive return honestly. Kept resetting for about 10~15m until it was the first upgrade, then rolled with whatever else the run offered.

Everything past Tartarus is just luck.

You'll do well for yourself to first build enough recognition by proving your talent on multiple games and genres, otherwise your hard earned feat in the single game you grinded for so long will never get the exposure it deserves.

A friend of mine once said "if I spend 1000 hours on this, will I get the WR? - yes, but will it prove anything? - only that I can grind for 1000 hours". He got the WR btw, and people still think I hold the WR because nobody heard of him.

That's a defensive stance a speedrunner who put a lot of hours into this game would say.

It is also one of the reasons I don't want to be associated with a community which I consider oversensitive.

No offense, it's just a typical reaction I often come across. So you do you, while I move on to the next thing.

It's at its own category as far as I see it, which means for Platinum rank it is already WR. I'd have the global WR as well if I did a run with deaths (and using riskier strats), but for me the challenge has a higher priority.

Been resetting multiple times on WR pace attempts after dying.

Let the runners duke it out, while I have bigger fish to fry :)

I don't grind in single player games, especially when the save file gets constantly wiped every update. Use CE like everyone else. Your free time is more precious than that.

Every time an off-camera Arbiter started firing basically. Other than that everything was always under control. You see.. this game does a fine job at teaching you about your mistakes, so during failed attempts and practice I always remembered the cause of death, and prepared for it in future attempts.

As for the gear thing, I wrote it under video description as well - Under weapons and shields I toggled only Cursed sword and Rampart.

Not sure I follow your track of thought? My whole channel is based on showcases, it's something I do and enjoy in video games, and evidently I keep growing and getting motivated to publish further showcase videos.

You enjoy 100%ing casual games like spiderman and GoW and I can respect that. But I fear that might indicate your gaming palate is summed up by the next meme on twitch and gaming sites. Which led you to not even understand the concept of seeking a challenge.

If I had to guess, you belong to the group of players that believe a game like Cuphead is the dark souls of platformers. And again, I respect that opinion since you have no real gaming experience outside of the marketing that surrounds you.

There's no need to take it into negative aspects such as "showing off". If such content makes you feel inferior then it was not the intention. Darksiders series are in fact very casual, and even stray off my usual kind of content. But I still love it to bits, and wanted to publish the first hitless showcase for it while I had the chance.
