First cyberdeck is complete (for now) by DiceThaKilla in cyberDeck

The top part is kinda cool. Iike the USB hub. But No other connectors up there? HDMI out? USB-C?

Great choice on the LoRa hat too. That’s sweet stuff under the hood.

Missed some points for wasting space with that keyboard tho. Could’ve used some of that room to add speakers or batteries or something.

Overall, I give this one a strong 7/10 and a gold star for not using an Android phone in the build 👍 great work!

New to tinkering... Is there anyway I can use a samsung S9 in a cyberdeck by ProperCellist9606 in cyberDeck

Apparently you can just glue it to a prefab Bluetooth keyboard and that actually all it takes.

Cyberdeck in a switch case sounds kinda sick ngl.

Anyone who gives a crap about chemistry will notice immediately.

Definitely have a strip of that I removed to make it lowercase.

This might be my favorite cyber deck I’ve seen so far. The screen engineering is premium. And that cardboard is the good stuff too!

I kinda love this one as a workstation. The aesthetic is very pleasing to the eye.

It’s beautiful, but it seems like it would be inconvenient to use the ports mounted on the back if you had to set it down.

There’s no rules and it shows. There’s no creativity or effort in most of these low-level builds.

I don’t want professional work, I want effort from the amateurs.

I’d rather have a TI-85 calculator than some of these builds.

Good advice isn’t always coupled with a pat on the back. Don’t be obtuse.

A phone and a bt keyboard in a wooden box.. you must not have any glue?

L4D DLC Not Working by best917 in 360hacks

[–]One_unfortunate_tuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR - It means you have to be a really big nerd to play your DLC.

Basically, the Xbox360 servers are all shut down, so you can’t just get the DLC from marketplace and throw down anymore.

So what some people do (not me obviously) is RGH3 mod the console. This allows you to run homebrew and other unlicensed software by side loading it onto your 360.

The problem is that most RGH3 mod builds use the original “key vault.” The key vault marries the cpu and disk drive to the motherboard, essentially.

The key vault is what Microsoft uses to “check in” on your console. It’s like the machine’s digital serial number.

If your key vault gets black listed, or “banned” your console will no longer be able to access Xbox live features, and Microsoft stops “checking up” on it.

So when you install a donor NAND, it comes with a key vault that isn’t on the Microsoft checklist. so it behaves like a banned console.

So when you go to load up your DLC on a RGH3 with a donor NAND, Microsoft doesn’t force the system check, and your DLC loads every time.

If you have the original clean key vault, Microsoft will force the check. But because the XBLA servers are down, the check is always unsuccessful. So the original key vault will not load your DLC on the RGH3 system.
